Privacy Policy

Effective: January 1, 2026

Plastron ("we", "us") operates a read-only, non-custodial wallet screening service. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Data We Collect

  • Wallet addresses — submitted voluntarily for screening. We query public Ethereum blockchain data via Etherscan, Alchemy, and public RPC endpoints. We never access private keys or sign transactions.
  • Email addresses — submitted voluntarily when unlocking your risk report or joining the Pro waitlist. Stored in Upstash Redis.
  • Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Wallet addresses are used solely to perform the on-chain screening you requested.
  • Email addresses are used to deliver your risk report and/or notify you of Pro launch.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

Screening results are assembled from public blockchain APIs (Etherscan, Alchemy, CoinGecko) and the OFAC SDN sanctions list. These services have their own privacy policies. We do not send your email address to any of these providers.

4. Data Retention

Email addresses are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Scan results are cached in your browser's sessionStorage for up to 10 minutes — no scan results are stored server-side. Usage logs are deleted after 30 days.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your email address at any time by contacting us at info@plastron.wtf. We will process requests within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. We use localStorage and sessionStorage in your browser to remember your report-unlock status and cache scan results locally.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date at the top of this page.
